Ruiyi Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. was founded in July 1995 and is headquartered in the Taiwan Kaohsiung Science and Technology Industrial Park. The company is built on the pillars of optical design, in-house mold development, and high-efficiency mass production. Ruiyi Optoelectronics follows a corporate development strategy called "Dual Engine Evolution," which aims to enhance core competencies in optical product design, molding, and manufacturing through "internal strengthening" and "external investments and acquisitions."
In addition to its three major production bases in mainland China, Ruiyi Optoelectronics has recently acquired Nanocomp, a Finnish optics company, securing expertise in mold and imprinting technology. It has also acquired NIL Technology ApS, a Danish optical company, marking a significant milestone in its entry into the meta-optics field. Furthermore, to capitalize on industry prospects and mitigate geopolitical risks, Ruiyi Optoelectronics has announced the establishment of a new factory in Vietnam and an advanced technology R&D center in Kaohsiung to prepare for mid-to-long-term technological development and equipment advancements.
Looking ahead, Ruiyi Optoelectronics will integrate the R&D capabilities of NILT and Nanocomp to expand beyond the backlight and frontlight display markets into new applications, targeting new customer segments and niche markets in the meta-optical components sector. The company aims to serve five key industries: consumer electronics, automotive applications, biomedical detection, augmented reality, and meta-optics. Ruiyi Optoelectronics will provide 3D sensing, AR waveguide lenses, and advanced optical components to its clients, continuing to be a trusted manufacturing partner for high-end optical solutions, offering one-stop services from design and mold development to mass production.
