I-Mei Foods Co., Ltd. was founded in 1934 during the Japanese colonial period. Its first location was the former site of Daan Hospital, established by Dr. Chiang Wei-shui in Taiping Town, which became the birthplace of I-Mei Foods. Today, the company's headquarters are located at No. 88, Section 2, Xinyi Road, Taipei City.
From a small pastry shop in Taiping Town during the Japanese colonial era, I-Mei has grown into an internationally renowned food company.
