NITTOBO ASIA Glass Fiber Co., Ltd. was established in 1988 and is a Taiwan subsidiary of the Japanese NITTOBO Group. The company specializes in the manufacture of electronic-grade glass fiber yarns, which are primarily supplied as raw materials for printed circuit boards (PCB) used in high-tech industries.
With the rapidly increasing demand from the electronics sector—including artificial intelligence (AI) servers, cloud data centers, the Internet of Things (IoT), electric vehicles, advanced smartphones, and wearable devices—together with the globally leading quality technologies and strong technical support from the parent company, the company has achieved significant improvements in business performance, product quality, and production efficiency. In particular, its product quality has earned strong recognition from manufacturers and customers.
In 2021, in response to the arrival of the 5G and AI era, the company began producing Low DK glass fiber yarns required for AI servers. Advanced production technologies were introduced from the parent company in Japan, accompanied by substantial capital investment for new plant expansion. This enabled the development of Low DK glass fiber yarn production lines in Taiwan, providing local manufacturing with timely and flexible delivery, strengthening the complete AI server supply chain in Taiwan, and making a significant contribution to Taiwan’s electronic technology industry and the economic development of Asia.
