Company Introduction
SinoPac Bank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SinoPac Holdings. Established on November 13, 2006, it was formed through an equal merger between Chien Hua Bank and International Bank of Taipei, both under SinoPac Holdings. The origins of International Bank of Taipei trace back to the Taipei District Hui Savings Corporation, founded on May 4, 1948. In 1978, it became the Taipei District Small and Medium Enterprise Bank, and on May 14, 1998, it was restructured as the International Bank of Taipei. After a share exchange merger with Chien Hua Holdings on December 26, 2005, it became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chien Hua Holdings, which was renamed SinoPac Holdings on July 20, 2006.
SinoPac Bank and its subsidiaries have around 5,500 employees, capital exceeding 86 billion TWD, and total assets of approximately 1.7 trillion TWD. In addition to 125 domestic branches (including the main office), the bank has international branches in Hong Kong, Kowloon, Macau, Los Angeles, and Ho Chi Minh City, along with a representative office in Vietnam. Its subsidiary bank in mainland China, SinoPac Bank (China) Ltd., operates multiple branches. The bank has also invested in SinoPac (Hong Kong) Insurance Brokerage.
In response to the digital wave and the need for financial technology innovation, SinoPac Bank continually integrates data and builds intelligent cores for precise marketing, real-time decision-making, and seamless integration of physical and virtual channels.
